How does the water for fuel system work?
The entire world is facing a huge energy crisis. The price of gas has almost doubled in America over that last 5 years while in Europe they are expected to touch a staggering $12/gallon by the end of 2008. Looking at the current trend, there are no signs that this energy crisis will end in the foreseeable future.
Infact, the entire oil crisis is quite logical given the fact that we humans have been exploiting our natural resources for the last 150 years or so. Although, at the height of industrial revolution, these resources were perceived to be everlasting, now we know for fact that this is simply not true. Moreover, there are growing concerns worldwide over the increase in green house gases due to the usage of petroleum based products. But this is only one part of the whole truth…
All of this really leaves us with only one option, which is to look for alternative fuels for our energy demands. Although, the "talk" over alternative fuels has been going on since the early 1990s, nothing concrete has been done in this regard. It is obvious why. Oil cartels and corporations have strong influence on oil prices and work together with our politicians on the highest levels. Since water is there in abundance oil companies would have a pretty hard time to "sell" this water as fuel. They would simply become null and void overnight.
Towards the end of last century electric hybrid cars were commercially introduced but these were way too expensive to be of any real value to the average car buyer. In recent times, water driven hybrid vehicles have gained quite a buzz and for all the good reasons.
It is now possible to drive your car by pouring water into your gas engine. Now this does not mean that your car will run entirely on water (yet, although positive tests have already been conducted in this field) but rather a fixed quantity of water needs to be mixed along with gasoline, so as to produce a "clean hybrid" which will power your car. So lets take a closer look as to how exactly this will be accomplished.
The chemical name of Water is H2O. What this basically means is that every molecule of water consists of two molecules of hydrogen and one molecule of oxygen. Now when water is poured into the engine, the electricity from the car battery is used to split the water molecule into two molecules of Hydrogen and one molecule of oxygen. This splitting is accompanied with the production of a gas known as Brown's gas or HHO. The chemical name for this reaction is Hydroxyl. It is this HHO, produced after hydroxyl, which provides energy for your car to move ahead while the oxygen produced in this reaction is released into the atmosphere through exhaust.
Several tests confirm that a car gives greater mileage and produces less harmful emissions if water is used to power the car instead of the usual petroleum based fuels. Moreover, a very small quantity of water is required for increasing efficiency and your car can run on this for several months.
There are several manuals and do-it-yourself kits available in the market for converting your current car into water driven hybrid car. Dont worry about the installation of the water systems as these are very easy to install. Moreover, once installed they will not require any maintenance from your side and in case youre wondering, their installation is completely reversible. Hence, they can be easily removed and your car will again run on gasoline without any problem.
